OfMiceandMenIf you missed the brilliant revival of John Steinbeck’s depression-era classic Of Mice & Men on the Great White Way last summer, “a moving masterpiece” (Time), then get ready for George (James Franco) and Lennie (Chris O’Dowd) on the big screen here on Thursday, November 13 at 2:00 pm.  This is the first time a Broadway show has been filmed by National Theatre Live, and is part of our continuing World Stage on Screenprogramming.

Hear how these stellar actors define the characters they portray…it’s fascinating!

And continuing with the “best laid plans” theme, we will transport you on Thursday, November 20 at 3:00 pm to London’s Globe Theatre for their HD screening of Macbeth, one of Shakespeare’s darkest and most powerful works about the perils of ambition.  It’s “a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury,” and this haunting production “strikes the requisite chill to the heart.” (TimeOut)

Tickets for both screenings are on sale now!
