Getting to the heart of the matter, you won’t want to miss the 2 upcoming screenings in our World Stage on Screen series which gives you a seat live HD simulcasts from theaters, opera houses, dance venues and museums around the globe.

RomeoandJulietBroadway’s Romeo and Juliet on March 6 at 2:00 pm (RESCHEDULED DATE)

Starring 2 talented “hotties,” Orlando Bloom (Lords of the Rings, Pirates of the Caribbean) and Condola Rashad (Stick Fly and The Trip to Bountiful), this stunning production retains the bard’s language while moving the setting to contemporary times. ” Mr Bloom in a first-rate Broadway debut and the gifted Rashad exude a too fine for this world purity that makes their characters’ love feel sacred” (New York Times). The perfect Valentine gift!

Royal Opera House’s La Boheme on February 20 at 2:00 pm

A lost key and an accidental touch in the dark…and so begins the passionate  story of Mimi and Rodolfo, one of the greatest romances in all of opera and a Puccini favorite. John Copley‘s masterful production brings to life Paris in the 1830’s in vivid detail, from a bohemian garrett to the hustle and bustle on the streets outside the Café Momus. And oh, that glorious music and singing….bring Kleenex!

Tickets for both performances are on sale now! Watch below to hear Director John Copely and others tell us what makes this the perfect opera.
