globalwatchUplifting stories of courageous people demanding justice both here at home and around the world pepper our signature fall series “Global Watch: Crisis, Culture & Human Rights.”  Of course, with the many human rights abuses taking place on our planet today, there are also stories that will break your heart. Don’t miss these powerful new films and numerous discussions….they will all challenge you and empower you to want to make a difference.

Just to highlight a couple of the more uplifting offerings:

The Green Prince – A real-life thriller recounting the gripping story of Mosab Hassan Yousef, the oldest son of one of the founding members of Hamas, who became a spy for Israel’s secret security service, and Gonen Ben Yitzhak, his Shin Bet handler. For a small sample, take a look at this clip:
