Farmers Market Fun for the Whole Family

Farmers MarketStop by the Pleasantville Farmers Market this Saturday, August 10 between 9:30-11am and say hi to some of our staff! We are hosting a fun family activity in which kids create their own thaumatrope. How do you make a thaumatrope? Easy! Just draw two images, one on each side of a disc, and string it together to create the illusion that the two drawings are actually the same image. See the video below for an example of a thaumatrop.

Saturday, August 17th, 9:30-11am:
KIDS: Westchester Engineering For Kids
Engineering For Kids, inspires children ages 4 to 14, to learn science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) concepts by building on their natural curiosity through fun, inquiry-based, hands-on programs. Engineering For Kids will visit the Market with an exciting, hands-on lesson taken from their Fall/Spring engineering curriculum.

Saturday, August 24th, 9:30-11am:
KIDS: Club Fit
Club Fit is sending one of their Kids sport’s coaches to lead kids through a fun soccer/agility obstacle course. Get your game on as they will also have a raffle and prizes!
